Bar Robin, I would disagree with beloved leader and suggest that iced water be transfused to take the place of the testosterone that presents itself in everyone else.
Such is the current confidence level that chances are being snatched at and as early as 15 minutes in, three great chances had been spurned, all laid on by RvP who was desperately unlucky in the second half with two shots that hit the woodwork. Not to mention a header that was cleared off the line.

To score zip against the worst defence in the league though, was a real downer. In all honesty, at the end we seemed to tire and were perhaps a bit fortunate to come away with one point, Ches saving our sorry arses with a fingertip deflection which made up for the attack of the flutters he gave us earlier.

Good news was seeing Chewbacca and Mikel back…neither of them were outstanding, just very solid. Had we scored the goals we deserved, their return would have been much happier.

Maybe the news about Jack now having a stress fracture of the heel (!? Apparently these ‘new’ injuries can occur following rehabilitation) is causing the Ox to be the first to be substituted. Makes no sense to me when Walcott is playing the way he is. The Ox looks hungry and although he’s not doing everything right, he’s certainly contributing a great deal more than Theo. If only they’d reversed roles in the first half with the Ox receiving from Walcott, clear with just the keeper to beat. Quite possibly the chance would also have gone to waste, but at the moment, the Ox is one of the good guys and less likely to get criticized.
