What can we realistically offer our captain to sign an extension?
At present it is difficult to see any silverware coming our way. He,being a world class player, has won very little,so money alone will not be enough.
Unless the squad attracts more quality ,i'm afraid our captain has to move in order to further his career.
A difficult pill to swallow!

Until Arsenal have a very

Until Arsenal have a very rich owner/s who can pay massive salaries we will have to get by on what we have and hope players will stay for the love of the club and not become money prostitutes like some ex gunners!!!

As supporters we are offended

As supporters we are offended by "money grabbers".We need to ask if it is wrong to expect better remuneration for the same job with another club.Forget glorifying these players, after all it is only a job for them and why should they not earn better elsewhere.I know yhat this will stick in the craw, but the truth is often unpalatable.
So to the Arsenal board--forget profit at all costs and try to pay better.
