While I'm happy with the signings of Arteta and Mertesacker I would have preferred Scott Parker and Cahill.
the arteta deal fell through...Wft! now they're talking about benayoun. benayoun can't fill the shoes of fabregas in the central midfield, why would wenger even consider him?

for arteta, 10mil is a steal. he would've paid the same amount for pjanic (who's just gone to roma for the same price)

loads of rumours floating around today where the gunners are concerned; so far i've seen M'Vila, Arteta, Fellaini and my personal favourite Hamsik. Pity AW dropped out of the race for Cahill, but Alex would be great as well. Since he's signed attackers, i'm hoping that he goes for M'Vila and either Arteta or Hamsik (if he get's both though that would be freaking awesome)

Well we have officially got J.Y Park... As far as youtube shows, that should be a great signing. AW bring in mertesacker and most of the preasure will be lifted. As to Santos. Saw him play against Bafana in the Con fed Cup. Besides the bastard Danny Alves knocking us out I really can't remember much else. But having Sagna on the right again I'll be glad to see a left back thats 'stronger than Clichy'.
I am just happy that we are buying players!!! If we are buying some, it means we are probably going to be buying a lot! Well i hope at least.

See that Per Mertesacker has asked for leave from the German team to take a medical in London. Good signing and a real leader at the back as well. Andre Santos in at LB is another good signing, would of preferred Baines but still happy with the signing, certainly stronger than Clichy. Now we need strong midfielder, reading lots of info but i think the best fit would be someone like Sneijder... We can certainly afford the 35 million Euro's but what would the wage bill be. We really need another ESTABLISHED world class midfielder...
I would say we need a good no.10, someone to dish out those defence splitting passes. Ramsey is good but not there yet and I don’t know whether Jack can carry the team in that position, even Cesc failed to do so. And of course we also need two quality centerbacks to cover for the current ones. I’m starting to doubt Djourou.
If we sign Cahill, fantastic.All that's needed is to sort out the defense, Arsenal's attack is the best in the Premiership,even Barcelona sucumbed to our attacking prowess.
