There are rumours that AW is looking to Arteta to replace Fab...i think this could be a great replacement, especially if we get either of the other transfer rumoured players in (Yann M'Vila or Lucho Gonzales).
chamakh is 27 years old! as a striker, one can't be promising after 25. you have to start scoring sometime, frankly less than 10 goals in 27 appearances is weak in my opinion, especially if one has the industrious midfield we had last season. get rid of him! the others go as well, almunia is past his prime; bendtner is progressing too slowly; and squillaci isn't good enough. we are a top 3 team, we need top 3 players. any other team would have rid themselves of average players asap.
Chamakh is a real let down.He has a promising look about him but its all a front.Atleast Rosisky tries.I say Bendner is 2x better than him at Centre forward.
Chamakh is chasing shadows and is no striker. I omitted his name in my list of players we must get rid of. Any sane fan who watched the Udinese game will realise we're in big trouble !!!!
At least we've got rid of Eboue now for Squillaci,Almunia,Diabi,Denilson and a couple more.Furthermore it appears as if our players are made of glass. I've followed the Gunners for more that 50 years and the present team must rank
as one of the worst ever. Our decent players all want to leave. The gaffer only buys cheapies from the French league !!!!
our squad is a bit thin to be honest - our second team looks more like a "carlin cup" team.When djourou came off, a 19 year old replaced him and also when rosisky came off, another 19 year old replaced him....In a UEFA Champs league match nogal!!!!
Gourcuff would be a great buy as well. totally forgot about him. even Miralem Pjanić, knowing AW he'd prefer to buy a youngster.
In seasons past we've started off like we were already at peak season form.This slower start will give us time to consolidate our present form,then improve and finally not run out of steam come april/may 2012.
we also have to watch out for all those silly draws, especially after christmas, those points are too vital to be throwing away
I wouldn't mind Gourcuff, or what about Kevin Prince Boateng or Honda?
