I hope Sunderland FC spend some time at least to try and sort that terrible pitch out...

This team is not under performing, they are just not performing.I wonder if the tactics were selected by AW or did the team just not know how to play.We just went sideways or backwards...AS,MA,AR in midfield.Where was Gibbsy all night..AWOL.(But it's tough to come into a CL match after injury).Penalty was a farce,-players just got tangled and ZI was savvy enough to "act".Poor referring all game.

Maybe we needed that drubbing to raise our game. What is the latest regarding Laurent's injury? Are we screwed? We need to win this one in preparation for the Spurs game.Peter de Villiers once said if u want to pee with the big dogs then u must lift up ur leg (what ever that means but sounds cool)

Are we on the way to being a mid table team? A few years ago this would have been unthinkable, but with the alarming lack of performances we've seen this season, this is indeed a sobering thought.
A large portion of this problem, which we as fans have bought into,is the annual striving for a CL place. Not winning the EPL,but merely qualifying by virtue of fourth place.Fourth place is pretty close to mid-table.
The youngsters coming through the ranks are not ready for the rigours of the EPL,week in and week out.
We have to make considered purchases early on and allow players to integrate in the off-season.If possible players with EPL EXPERIENCE AND A WILL TO FIGHT.

I have followed the Gunners for many moons and find that over the past couple of seasons they have degenerated to a team of journeyman players. The stars have been sold and replaced with mediocre players. Surely the time has come for Wenger to be replaced !!!!

If we lose this one then most Arsenal fans will be calling for Wenger's head. I think some good performances this season have flattered to deceive.

@ Navis and Terry - I second you.I was sitting there watching the Milan game on TV feeling sorry for myself as I had to accept after many denials, that we are nolonger a top team.We are like Livpoo and Totts, just above average.if we don't address our short comings soon, we will end up on Necastle's,QPR's level next season. If we drop out of the FA cup, then our season was yet another falure.

If we start with Gervinho and the Ox on the wings, then I have hope. Walcott has deserved benching (Blackburn regardless) for well over a couple of months. Ramsey more suited than Rosicky on a heavy, rutted pitch I think. Quite who we're going to play in the middle (TV,JD, Miquel?) may be instructive and Chewbacca can't have two successive bad games. Can he?

After the AC and Sunderland debacles surely Wenger must be shown the door. He's living in a fools paradise while Rome is burning.
